There’s a whole menu of powertrains to choose from on the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in Goldthwaite. A newly named TurboMax engine is rated at 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. A 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine is even more powerful: 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The 420-horsepower 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 is also a great choice for our customers who prefer high-powered gas engines. Its 460 lb-ft of torque is outstanding. And for diesel fans, there’s a Duramax 3.0L turbocharged diesel engine rated at 305 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque.
Chevrolet Safety Assist is standard on all 2024 Silverado 1500 trucks. This advanced platform delivers Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and IntelliBeam auto high beams to every trim.
The new 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is capable of towing up to 13,300 pounds. For max towing performance, select the model’s available Duramax 3.0L turbo-diesel engine. There are pure off-roaders in the Silverado 1500 trim lineup, too. The ZR2 boasts 33-inch MT tires, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and front and rear electronic locking differentials.
Things get very exciting right from the beginning of the trim lineup. The model’s WT comes with a Durabed with 89.1 cubic feet of cargo volume and 12 tie-downs. Every trim this year gets push-button start and a CornerStep rear bumper, two features that most automakers make you upgrade for. A Custom Trail Boss is an extremely affordable option for serious off-roaders. Its 18-inch high-gloss black-painted wheels, raised hood, and 2-inch factory suspension lift are going to carry you to your greatest off-road victories. A ZR2 and High Country offer even more in the way of capability and luxury. The ZR2 comes with 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires, off-road cut front bumpers, and a bold hood insert. The High Country’s premium perforated leather-appointed seats and 13.4-inch diagonal color touchscreen are both high-end features on one of America’s nicest trucks.
